Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
EscapeMate ("the app") is a personal-safety mobile application developed by Tatanka Labs. This policy explains what information the app handles, what is sent to third parties, and the choices available to you.
1. What the App Collects
EscapeMate is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal information.
- Caller details you configure. Caller name, phone number, and profile photo for your simulated incoming call are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers.
- Safety contacts. The name, phone number, and custom message you store for each safety contact live only on your device. We never receive or transmit your safety contacts.
- Location. EscapeMate reads your device's location only at the moment you tap "Send Location" during a session or — if you have explicitly opted in — at session start under the Auto-Share Location setting. The location is used immediately to build a pre-filled SMS draft in the system Messages app. EscapeMate never stores, transmits, or logs your location. You always tap Send in Messages yourself.
- Companion voice recordings. Custom companion voice clips you record stay in EscapeMate's local storage on your device. We do not upload, back up, or transmit these recordings.
- Scheduled sessions. The timer and date/time you configure for a scheduled session are stored locally on your device for the operating system to fire on your behalf.
- Subscription status. EscapeMate Premium subscription state is verified locally against Apple StoreKit. We do not maintain a user account or any identifier tied to your subscription.
- Anonymous diagnostics. Device type, operating system version, and app version may be referenced for diagnostic and compatibility purposes. We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, contacts, photos, or any other personal data.
- Accounts. EscapeMate does not require or support user accounts, sign-in, or profiles.
2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
EscapeMate offers an auto-renewable subscription, EscapeMate Premium, with two options:
- Monthly: $1.99 USD per month
- Annual: $14.99 USD per year
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings › your Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device.
All payment processing is handled by Apple. EscapeMate never sees or stores your payment information. We do not associate your subscription status with any personal identifier; entitlement is verified against StoreKit on your device.
3. Third-Party Services
EscapeMate uses a small number of third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.
| Service | Data Sent | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Apple StoreKit | Subscription receipts | Verify your EscapeMate Premium entitlement on your device |
| Google AdMob | Standard ad request data (free tier only) | Display the banner advertisement on free accounts. See policies.google.com/privacy |
| Apple Maps (URL only) | Latitude and longitude | Generate a map link in your safety-share SMS. The link opens in Apple Maps for the recipient. No data is sent to Apple by EscapeMate. |
EscapeMate does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party telemetry beyond what AdMob requires to serve advertisements on free accounts. Premium accounts do not load AdMob at all.
4. Permissions
- Microphone. Required only when you record a custom companion voice clip in Settings › Companion Voice. Audio is captured only during that explicit recording window and saved locally on your device. EscapeMate never opens the microphone in the background or during a session.
- Location (when in use). Required only at the moment you tap Send Location during a session, or — if Auto-Share Location is enabled — at session start. Used solely to populate an SMS draft. Revoking location permission disables this feature without affecting the rest of the app.
- Camera and Photos. Optional. Used only if you choose to set a custom photo for your simulated caller. Photos stay on your device.
- Notifications. Used to fire scheduled sessions at the time you set.
5. The Nature of a "Simulated Call"
EscapeMate generates a simulated incoming call on your own phone. No real call is placed, no real person is on the other end, and EscapeMate never impersonates a real individual or business. The ringtone, caller ID, and session screen are produced locally on your device. The audio companion that plays through your earpiece during a session is either the bundled safety-PSA companion voice or a clip you recorded yourself. EscapeMate is a personal-safety tool intended to provide you with a calm, prepared way to step away from a situation; it is not a substitute for emergency services.
6. Children's Privacy
EscapeMate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that implicates this policy, please contact us and we will respond promptly.
7. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA)
Because EscapeMate does not collect or store personal data on our own servers, there is no account, profile, or record held by us that we could export, correct, or delete on your request. Caller details, safety contacts, voice recordings, and scheduled sessions exist only on your device; deleting the app removes all of them. If you have questions about data handled by Apple or Google for the purposes described above, those companies' own privacy policies explain the rights available to you.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.

Legal · SceneSong
Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
SceneSong ("the app") is a mobile application developed by Tatanka Labs. This policy explains what information the app handles, what is sent to third parties, and the choices available to you.
1. What the App Collects
SceneSong is designed to process data in the moment and not store personal information on our own servers.
- Audio samples. When you tap the "Listen" button, the app records approximately 8 seconds of audio from your device's microphone. This sample is used solely to identify the song and is discarded from the device after the identification attempt completes. We do not retain, transmit to ourselves, or store audio recordings.
- Text searches. When you type a song title or artist into the manual search box, that text is sent to music-catalog services to look up the song. We do not log or store your searches on our own servers.
- Community submissions. If you submit a "song sighting" (reporting where a song appeared in a show, movie, or game), the media title, type, and episode details are stored in our database to help other users. To detect spam, we also store a one-way hash of your IP address with each submission; the actual IP address is not stored, and the hash cannot be reversed.
- Listening history. A list of songs you've identified is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers.
- Device data. SceneSong does not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data.
- Accounts. SceneSong does not require or support user accounts, sign-in, or profiles.
- Analytics. SceneSong does not include analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or any third-party telemetry.
2. Third-Party Services
To identify songs and find where they appear, the app sends limited data to the following third parties. Each service has its own privacy policy.
| Service | Data Sent | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| ACRCloud | Short audio sample (~8 sec) | Song fingerprint recognition |
| Spotify | Song title / artist text | Song lookup and metadata |
| Apple (iTunes Search API) | Song title / artist text | Song lookup, album art |
| MusicBrainz | Song title / artist text | Open music database lookup |
| Wikidata (Wikimedia) | Song title / artist text | Film / TV / game appearance lookup |
| Watchmode | Show / movie titles | Streaming availability lookup |
| Cloudflare | Standard HTTP request data | Hosts the SceneSong backend proxy that brokers requests to ACRCloud, Spotify, and Watchmode |
| Google Play Integrity | Signed app/device integrity token | Verifies that requests to our backend come from a genuine SceneSong install on a real device (anti-abuse). Does not disclose your personal identity to us. |
The app does not send your identity, device ID, or any audio data to any service other than ACRCloud. The only IP-derived data we retain is the one-way hash stored with community sightings for spam detection (see §1).
3. Affiliate and Store Links
The app displays links to music stores, streaming services, and game stores. Some of these links are affiliate links (currently: Amazon Associates; Apple Services Performance Partners is planned). When you tap an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase on the destination site, the app developer may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Tapping a link opens the destination app or website, which then operates under its own privacy policy. The app does not track whether you complete a purchase.
4. Microphone Permission
The app requires permission to access the device microphone, used only when you tap the "Listen" button. Audio is captured only during that explicit ~8-second window and is sent to ACRCloud for recognition. You can revoke microphone permission at any time through your device settings; doing so disables the "Listen" feature but the manual text-search feature continues to work.
5. Children's Privacy
SceneSong is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that implicates this policy, please contact us and we will respond promptly.
6. Advertising
SceneSong does not currently display advertising, and does not include any advertising SDKs. If this changes in a future version, this policy will be updated.
7. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA)
Because SceneSong does not collect or store personal data on our own servers, there is no account, profile, or record held by us that we could export, correct, or delete on your request. If you have questions about data handled by any of the third-party services listed above, those services' own privacy policies explain the rights available to you.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted in the app release notes.

Legal · Link Hive
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 23, 2026
Link Hive ("the app") is a mobile application developed by Tatanka Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information the app handles, what is shared with third parties, and the choices available to you. Link Hive is a social events application that includes user accounts, real-time chat, voice communication, in-app purchases, and a marketplace for user-submitted content. Because of these features, the app processes more personal information than our other apps; this policy describes that processing in detail.
1. Information You Provide
- Account information. First name, last name, username, email address, phone number, date of birth, and (for age-gating only) your derived age.
- Profile content. Profile photo, bio, interests, and optional information including school, religious affiliation, and group affiliations (e.g. military, veteran, first responder, social club). Group affiliations are voluntary and never displayed publicly without your explicit choice.
- Avatar and customizations. Choices you make in the avatar builder, including body, skin tone, hair, and clothing colors. If you upload a photo for the AI Bee Caricature feature, the photo is processed to generate a stylized caricature and the caricature image is stored in your profile.
- Events you create or join. Event title, description, location, date and time, audience settings, attendee list, and any photos you upload to the event.
- Messages and lobby activity. Text chat in event lobbies, group chats, and direct messages. Voice audio in event lobbies (see Section 3 below). Voice transcriptions, when voice-to-text is enabled, are stored alongside the corresponding chat as text.
- Marketplace submissions. Designs you submit to the avatar, lobby decor, or pet item storefronts, along with associated metadata you provide.
- Business account information. If you register a business account, business name, address, contact information, and any payment / payout information collected by our payment processors.
- Sponsor / parent linkage. If you sponsor a child account, the linkage between your account and the child's account is recorded so we can route approval requests to you.
2. Information Collected Automatically
- Location. If you grant location permission, we use your device location to surface events, lobbies, and Free B's coupons near you. Location data is not stored on our servers as a permanent record; it is used at the moment of the request to filter results.
- Device information. Device type, operating system, app version, and crash diagnostics (used only to fix bugs).
- Push notification token. If you allow notifications, your device's push token is stored so we can send notifications you have opted in to.
- Analytics. Aggregate usage events (which screens are visited, which features are used) used to improve the app. We do not sell analytics data.
3. Voice Chat and Transcription
Link Hive event lobbies offer voice chat through LiveKit, a third-party real-time communication service. When you join voice chat:
- Audio is transmitted to LiveKit's servers and forwarded to other participants in the same lobby.
- Audio is not recorded or stored on Tatanka Labs servers.
- If you enable voice-to-text transcription, audio is converted to text on-device or via a transcription service. The resulting text appears in chat and is stored alongside other chat messages.
You can leave voice chat at any time and the microphone will release. The microphone is only active while you are joined to a lobby and have explicitly enabled voice.
4. Third-Party Services
Link Hive shares limited data with the following service providers, each of which has its own privacy policy.
| Service | Data Sent | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase (Google) | Account info, app content, push tokens | Authentication, real-time database, file storage, push notifications |
| Google Maps Platform | Coordinates and place queries | Map rendering, address autocomplete, geocoding |
| LiveKit | Voice audio while in a lobby | Real-time voice communication |
| Replicate | Photo you opted in to convert | AI Bee Caricature generation |
| OpenAI Moderation API | Text content (bios, usernames, chat messages) | Detecting profanity and unsafe content; raw text is not retained for model training |
| RevenueCat | Anonymized purchase events | Managing in-app subscriptions |
| Stripe | Payment information for business accounts and designer payouts | Payment processing |
| ID.me | Identity verification details (only if you opt in) | Verifying military / veteran status for ad-free access |
| Apple, Google | App Store / Play Store purchase events | Processing in-app purchases of Honey Money packs and subscriptions |
| Google AdMob | Hashed Advertising ID; non-personalised ad-request signals | Serving non-personalised banner and interstitial advertisements to non-premium adult accounts. Children and premium subscribers never receive ads. |
5. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the core functionality of the app: events, lobbies, chat, friends, profile.
- Show you events, people, and Free B's coupons relevant to your location and interests.
- Enforce safety policies, including the child-safety rules described in our Children's Privacy Notice and the moderation rules described in our Community Guidelines.
- Process subscriptions and in-app purchases through Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Stripe.
- Pay designers in the marketplace under our 75 percent platform / 25 percent designer revenue split.
- Improve the app and diagnose problems.
- Comply with legal obligations.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, friends, friend-circle memberships, and direct messages. Public content you posted (e.g. events you created, marketplace items you submitted that other users have purchased) may be retained in anonymized form so the app remains usable for other participants — for example, a past event will continue to show up in attendees' history but with your contributions attributed to a deleted user.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at contact@tatankalabs.com or by using the in-app account-deletion option in Settings. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR and CCPA respectively, including the right to data portability and the right to object to certain processing. We will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
Link Hive supports kid accounts (age 12 and under) only with verifiable parental consent and an active sponsor account. The handling of children's data is described in detail in our Children's Privacy Notice, which is incorporated into this Privacy Policy by reference.
9. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where supported by our service providers. No system is perfectly secure; if you become aware of a vulnerability or suspected breach, please contact us immediately.
10. International Data Transfers
Link Hive is operated from the United States. If you use the app from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the app you consent to that transfer.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted in the app release notes and, where required by law, presented for affirmative consent before continued use of the app.

Children's Privacy Notice
Last updated: May 23, 2026
This notice supplements the Link Hive Privacy Policy and describes how Link Hive handles personal information of children under 13. It is intended to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the kids-related guidelines of the Apple App Store and Google Play.
1. Kid Accounts at a Glance
- Link Hive supports accounts for children age 12 and under ("kid accounts") only when at least one parent or guardian has registered as a sponsor and approved the child's account.
- A kid account is inactive and inaccessible until at least one sponsor accepts the sponsorship request.
- Up to two sponsors can be linked to a single kid account.
- Kid accounts have additional privacy and safety restrictions described below.
2. Information We Collect From Kid Accounts
We collect only the information needed to operate the app and to keep kids safe. Specifically:
- First name, last name, username, date of birth, and (with sponsor permission) email or phone number for two-factor verification.
- Selected interests, school information (if shared by the sponsor), and group affiliations.
- Bee Caricature profile image, generated from a photo only with sponsor approval.
- Events the child hosts or joins, only after sponsor approval.
- Chat messages within event lobbies and approved direct messages.
- Device information needed to deliver the service.
We do not collect precise location data from kid accounts. We do not show real-name profile photos of kid accounts to other users; only the Bee Caricature is shown.
3. Parental / Sponsor Controls
Sponsors have the following controls for each linked kid account:
- Approve or deny event-hosting requests, event-joining requests, and friend requests.
- View the child's full chat history in lobbies and direct messages.
- Approve photo, video, voice-message, address, and phone-number sharing on a per-message basis.
- Block specific users from contacting the child.
- Request export or deletion of the child's account and associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@tatankalabs.com.
- Revoke sponsorship at any time, which deactivates the child's account.
4. Restrictions Specific to Kid Accounts
- Kid accounts cannot upload or view real photos — the app shows the Bee Caricature only.
- Photos, videos, attachments, voice messages, addresses, and phone numbers cannot be sent in chat without sponsor approval.
- Kid accounts cannot make in-app purchases.
- Kid accounts cannot register a business account.
- Kid accounts cannot publish marketplace items.
- Targeted advertising is disabled for kid accounts.
5. Automatic Transition at Age 13
When a kid account holder reaches age 13, the kid restrictions are automatically lifted, and the account is converted to a standard teen account. Sponsors are notified before this transition and can choose to continue with sponsor visibility or release the account. Standard teen accounts are still subject to additional Apple and Google rules for users under 18.
6. Verifiable Parental Consent
Before a kid account becomes active, the sponsor must (a) hold an existing Link Hive account in good standing, (b) confirm their relationship to the child during the sponsorship-approval flow, and (c) accept this notice and the main Privacy Policy on behalf of the child. We use these steps in combination as our verifiable parental consent mechanism under COPPA.
7. Disclosures to Third Parties
We do not sell or rent personal information of kid accounts. We do not share kid-account data with third parties except as needed to operate the service (e.g., Firebase for storage, Google Maps for non-precise area display, OpenAI Moderation API for content safety) and as required by law. The third-party services used for kid accounts are listed in Section 4 of the main Privacy Policy and are configured to apply our kid-account restrictions.
8. Contact for Parents and Sponsors
If you are a parent or sponsor and have questions about how your child's data is handled, or if you wish to review, correct, or delete your child's information, contact us at contact@tatankalabs.com. We respond to verifiable parental requests within 30 days.

Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Last updated: May 25, 2026
Link Hive is operated by Tatanka Labs LLC. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind on our platform. This page describes the standards we enforce, the controls we have in place, and how to report CSAE content if you encounter it.
1. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Link Hive and will result in immediate account termination and, where required by law, a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC):
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any image, video, drawing, animation, audio recording, or text-based content that depicts or describes the sexual exploitation of a minor (anyone under 18).
- Grooming, solicitation, or any communication intended to facilitate the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
- Sextortion, blackmail, or threats made to obtain sexual content from a minor.
- Sharing, requesting, or offering to share CSAM, including links to off-platform sites containing CSAM.
- Sexualized commentary, "ageplay" content depicting minors, or any normalization or glorification of child sexual abuse.
- Attempts to circumvent our age-verification, sponsor-approval, or moderation systems for the purpose of contacting minors.
- Trafficking, recruitment, or coordination of in-person meetings with minors outside of the Link Hive sponsor-approval flow.
2. Controls We Have in Place
Link Hive operates several overlapping safeguards:
- Mandatory sponsor approval for minors. Accounts for children age 12 and under are inactive and inaccessible until a parent or guardian registers as a sponsor and approves the account. See our Children's Privacy Notice for details.
- Server-side moderation. All chat messages, profile bios, event descriptions, and other user-generated text are screened in real time by an automated moderation pipeline (currently powered by OpenAI's content-moderation classifier) before they are visible to other users.
- Sponsor message review for under-13 users. Outbound messages from under-13 accounts can be routed through their sponsor's approval queue when the sponsor enables this control.
- User-initiated controls. Every user can block other users and report content they consider harmful via the in-app Report flow. Reports are routed to our moderation queue.
- Human moderation. Moderation alerts and user reports are reviewed by a human moderator. Confirmed CSAE content is removed within 24 hours of detection, the offending account is permanently banned, and where the content meets the U.S. legal threshold for CSAM, a CyberTipline report is filed with NCMEC.
- Hash-matching cooperation. Where image hashes are made available to us by NCMEC or other CSAE-prevention partners, we use them to block known CSAM from being uploaded.
- No public messaging with strangers for minors by default. Sponsor controls restrict who can contact a minor's account.
3. How to Report CSAE Content
If you encounter content or behavior on Link Hive that you believe violates these standards, please report it through one of the following channels:
- In-app: Tap the … menu on the offending message, post, profile, or event and choose Report. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
- Email: Send a description of the content (and a link or screenshot if possible) to contact@tatankalabs.com with the subject line "CSAE Report — Link Hive". We aim to acknowledge CSAE reports within 24 hours.
- Law enforcement / NCMEC: If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. CSAM can also be reported directly to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline at https://report.cybertip.org/ or by calling 1-800-843-5678.
4. Our Commitments
- We will remove confirmed CSAE content from the platform as quickly as we can identify it, and in all cases within 24 hours of confirmation.
- We will permanently ban any account responsible for CSAE content or conduct.
- We will report apparent CSAM to NCMEC's CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and cooperate with law-enforcement investigations.
- We will preserve evidence of CSAE incidents in accordance with U.S. legal requirements and only disclose it to authorized parties.
- We will continue to improve these standards as new tools, hashing partnerships, and best practices become available.
5. Point of Contact
The point of contact for CSAE matters at Tatanka Labs LLC is:
- Curtis Campbell, Trust & Safety lead, Tatanka Labs LLC
- Email: contact@tatankalabs.com
For urgent CSAE reports that require immediate action, please include "URGENT — CSAE" in the subject line.
6. Changes to These Standards
We may update these standards as we learn from incidents, new partnerships, or regulatory guidance. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted in the Link Hive app release notes.

Community Guidelines & Acceptable Use
Last updated: May 23, 2026
Link Hive is built to bring people together for real-life events. These guidelines apply to everything you post, send, host, or submit on Link Hive: event listings, chat messages, voice in lobbies, profiles, avatar customizations, marketplace submissions, and Free B's coupon offers.
1. Be Respectful
You agree not to post or transmit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence, self-harm, or harm to others. We have zero tolerance for content targeting people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status. Link Hive is non-partisan by design; we are a place to gather, not a political broadcasting platform.
2. Protect Minors
You may not post content that sexualizes or exploits minors, nor solicit, harass, or attempt to contact minors for harmful purposes. The app's child-safety features (sponsor approval, restricted media, parental visibility into chat) exist to protect kids; you may not attempt to circumvent them.
3. Be Truthful in Events
Events you create must be real events you intend to host, with accurate location, time, and description. Do not list fictional events for the purpose of harvesting attendee data, sending unsolicited solicitations, or driving traffic to unrelated services.
4. No Spam, No Scams
You may not use Link Hive to send unsolicited commercial messages, run multi-level marketing recruitment, distribute malware, phish for credentials, or impersonate anyone. Business accounts must clearly identify themselves as such.
5. Marketplace Submissions
If you submit avatar items, lobby decor, or pet items to the Link Hive marketplace, you confirm that (a) you are the original creator of the content, or you hold all necessary licenses, (b) the content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, trademark, or right of publicity, (c) the content does not include any of the prohibited material in this document. All submissions are reviewed by Tatanka Labs before going live and may be rejected or removed at our discretion.
6. Free B's Coupons
If you publish Free B's coupon offers as a business account, the offer must be a real and honored discount or promotion. False, deceptive, or bait-and-switch offers will result in immediate removal and possible suspension of the business account.
7. Voice and Lobby Conduct
Voice chat in event lobbies is real-time and audible to other participants. Do not harass other users via voice, broadcast copyrighted material (music, films), or use voice in a way that would otherwise violate these guidelines if posted as text.
8. Reporting and Enforcement
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Use the in-app report feature on the relevant content, profile, message, lobby, or event.
- Or email us at contact@tatankalabs.com with details.
We review reports promptly and may take any of the following actions: remove content, restrict features, suspend the account, permanently ban the user, and/or report to law enforcement where required by law. Repeat violations result in permanent removal from Link Hive.
9. Blocking and Muting
You can block other users at any time from their profile page. A blocked user cannot send you messages, friend requests, or interact with you in event lobbies. You can also mute event chats, group chats, and per-organizer notifications without blocking. These controls are always available in the app regardless of these guidelines.
10. Updates
We may update these guidelines as the community grows and new behaviors emerge. Material changes will be highlighted in app release notes and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the change.

Link Hive App Terms
Last updated: May 23, 2026
These Link Hive App Terms ("Link Hive Terms") supplement the general Tatanka Labs Terms of Service and apply specifically to your use of the Link Hive mobile application. To the extent there is a conflict between the general Terms and these Link Hive Terms with respect to the Link Hive app, these Link Hive Terms control. By using Link Hive you agree to both sets of terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create a standalone Link Hive account. Children age 12 and under may use Link Hive only through a kid account linked to an active sponsor account, as described in our Children's Privacy Notice. Business accounts are subject to admin approval before activation.
2. User Content License
You retain ownership of content you submit to Link Hive, including event descriptions, chat messages, profile content, avatar customizations, marketplace submissions, and Free B's coupon offers ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Tatanka Labs LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to host, store, transmit, display, reproduce, and modify the User Content as necessary to operate, promote, and improve Link Hive. This license terminates when you delete the User Content, except that we may retain backup copies for a reasonable period and except where the User Content has been incorporated into shared content (such as a past event with multiple attendees), in which case it may continue to exist in anonymized form.
3. Marketplace and Designer Payouts
Items submitted to the Link Hive marketplace (avatar items, lobby decor, pet items) are subject to admin review before becoming available for purchase. When a user purchases your approved item, the revenue is split 75% to the platform / 25% to the designer. Designer payouts are made through Stripe Connect; you must complete the Stripe onboarding process and accept Stripe's terms before receiving payouts. Payouts are made on a regular schedule subject to a minimum payout threshold disclosed in the app.
4. Honey Money — In-App Currency
Link Hive uses an in-app currency called Honey Money ("HM"), displayed in the user interface as "Honey Pot." HM is purchased through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing as consumable in-app purchases. HM is non-refundable except as required by Apple, Google, or applicable law. HM has no monetary value outside Link Hive, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred between users. The exchange rate is $1.00 USD = 100 HM. Tatanka Labs reserves the right to discontinue HM with reasonable notice; in such case, any then-current balances will be honored for in-app spending for at least 90 days.
5. Subscriptions
Link Hive offers auto-renewing subscriptions for ad-free access:
- Individual — ad-free experience for one account.
- Family — ad-free experience for up to six linked accounts.
- Business — per-location subscription for hosting events, running Free B's campaigns, and accessing analytics. Business subscriptions are billed through Stripe.
Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID, Google Play account, or Stripe-billed payment method at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play settings, or through the in-app subscription screen for Stripe-billed business plans. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a subscription period; refunds, if any, are governed by Apple, Google, or Stripe policies.
6. Free B's Coupons
Free B's coupons are offers published by business accounts. Tatanka Labs is not the seller of the goods or services offered through Free B's; the participating business is. Tatanka Labs does not guarantee availability, accuracy, or fulfillment of any Free B's offer. Disputes over redemption must be resolved with the issuing business. Tatanka Labs may take a small percentage of the sale when a Free B's coupon drives a transaction, as disclosed to business accounts during onboarding.
7. Military / Veteran Verification
Verified active-duty military and veterans receive ad-free access. Verification is performed through ID.me. Verification status is binary (verified / not verified) and does not affect any feature other than ad display.
8. Acceptable Use
Your use of Link Hive must comply with our Community Guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination, with no obligation to refund subscription fees or unused HM.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from in-app Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, the general Terms, or the Community Guidelines. Upon termination of an account that holds unspent Honey Money or undisbursed designer earnings, accrued amounts will be handled as required by applicable law and Apple / Google / Stripe policy.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The general Terms of Service disclaimers and limitation-of-liability provisions apply to Link Hive. Without limiting those provisions, Tatanka Labs is not responsible for the conduct of other users at Link Hive events, in lobbies, or in chat. Real-world events organized through Link Hive are organized by their hosts, not by Tatanka Labs. Use common sense when meeting people you have only encountered through the app.
11. Apple-Specific Terms
If you obtained Link Hive through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply: (a) these Terms are between you and Tatanka Labs only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content; (b) the license granted is limited to use of Link Hive on Apple-branded products you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Media Services Terms; (c) Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance and support; (d) Apple is not responsible for product warranties or claims; (e) Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Link Hive Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to Link Hive will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Account Deletion
Last updated: May 23, 2026
You can permanently delete your Link Hive account and the personal information associated with it at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. This page exists for the Google Play and Apple App Store account-deletion-URL requirement; the in-app option is the fastest.
1. Delete from inside the app (fastest, ~60 seconds)
- Open Link Hive and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion. The cascade runs server-side and completes in under a minute.
2. Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app or your sign-in is broken, email us from the address associated with your account:
- Address: contact@tatankalabs.com
- Subject: Delete my Link Hive account
- Body: include your Link Hive username and (optionally) the email or phone number you registered with so we can match you to the right account.
We complete the deletion within fourteen (14) days and reply with confirmation.
3. What is permanently deleted
- Your Firebase Authentication record (the sign-in itself).
- Your user profile document and every owner-scoped subcollection (saved events, friend list, blocked-users list, parental controls, sponsor links, friend-circle memberships, direct-message threads you started).
- Photos you uploaded to Firebase Cloud Storage: profile photo, Bee Caricature, event covers, in-event uploads.
- Free B campaigns you created (business operators); already-issued redemption codes remain valid until they expire naturally.
- Active Stripe / Google Play / Apple subscriptions are scheduled to cancel at the end of the current billing period; no further charges are made after deletion.
- Your username claim is released so the handle becomes available again.
4. What may be retained
Per the main Link Hive Privacy Policy and applicable law:
- Public content you posted (events you hosted that other people attended, marketplace items you submitted that other users purchased) may be retained in anonymised form so the app remains usable for other participants. Your contributions will be attributed to a "deleted user" placeholder.
- Chat messages you sent are flagged as deleted with the body cleared; the envelope (timestamp, threading) is preserved so other participants' threads stay intact.
- Payment receipts are retained for seven (7) years to satisfy tax and consumer-protection law.
- Moderation audit logs are retained for two (2) years to satisfy applicable statute-of-limitations requirements.
- Anonymous aggregate analytics that cannot be re-associated with you may be retained indefinitely.
5. Children's accounts
A parent or sponsor account can delete a linked child account at any time from Sponsorship → tap the child's username → Delete Account. The child cannot delete a sponsored account without sponsor confirmation. See the Children's Privacy Notice for more.
6. Questions
If anything in this process doesn't work as described or you need help recovering data before deletion, email contact@tatankalabs.com before initiating the deletion.
